She works out of Katni Junction in Madhya Pradesh's Jabalpur and chances are that one can see her lugging bags of passengers in and out of the railway station on any given day.

She has been taking care of her children while working in the kitchen and the train platform after her husband passed away.

The worry of raising three young children and arranging meals for them haunted her but she didn't give up. Instead, Sandhya decided to become a coolie and earn money for her family's welfare.

Every evening she manages the journey to 45 Kms from Kundam to Jabalpur, then to Katni railway station.
